China (Tianjin) ICH Works Exhibited in Mongolia

China (Tianjin) intangible cultural heritage works were exhibited at the Chinese Culture Center in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on October 11th. Officials from both China and Mongolia as well as students majoring in Chinese from Ulaanbaatar No.23 School participated in the event.

Deputy Director of Tianjin Municipal Mass Art Center Liu Wenyan introduced that many popular works including paper cut and shadow play with their unique artistic charm of Chinese culture were exhibited at the affair.

Meng Shude, director of Chinese Culture Center in Ulaanbaatar, said that this exhibition was part of cultural communication activities between the two countries in 2011, showing a long and splendid Chinese culture to Mongolian people. It also had essential implications in enhancing the understanding and trust between peoples in the two countries.

After the opening ceremony of the exhibition, several famous artists from China presented their works respectively, arousing great interest of attendees.
