2011 Autumn Capital TV Programs Fair to be Held
As a component of the ICCIE this year, the 2011 Autumn Capital TV Programs Fair, which is hosted jointly by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Radio, Film and Television and People's Government of Huairou District, will be held in Huairou district during Oct. 26-28. A total of 310 TV plays (over 9000 episodes) will be brought by over 280 film and TV play production or broadcasting units onto the Fair for exchange and trade.
The Capital TV Programs Fair was initiated in 2007 and held twice a year (in spring and autumn), and has become one of the three branded activities for TV program trade in a national range. Of all the 310 TV plays to show up on this Fair, 75% are newly produced ones, which cover life, military theme, action, etc. 81 domestic mainstream TV stations, such as CCTV; 20 new media including Sohu, Tencent, Netease; 27 overseas TV program broadcasting institutions, such as Thailand’s TCTV, South Korea’s SBS will participate in the Fair. This Fair will see a new high in terms of size and number of TV plays for trade. In addition, US’s Surround Stereo TV programs by DOIBY Lab will also be introduced in the Special Introduction Unit.
