1st 798 International Printmaking Fair Generalizes the Printmaking Art to the Life of Common People
As one of the branch exhibition halls of the 6th ICCIE, the 1st 798 International Printmaking Fair will be hold in Baiyaxuan 798 Art Center from 6th~13th November, when the public can exchange and discuss with related experts on the printmaking art to embody the art glamour and market potentials in an all-around way.
Several activities will be mounted during this Fair. Famous works by three-generation printmaking artists (the old, the middle-aged and the young) will be displayed, and hundreds of well-known printmaking painters home and abroad will be invited to exchange ideas and make interactions; The “Print & Market” summit will be hold, where outstanding art experts, scholars as well as related professionals will deeply discuss on cultural & art industry building, print trade modes and printmaking market trends, etc; A series of theme lectures will also made during this Fair.
This Fair features the printmaking sharing, popularization and dissemination. Printmaking celebrities and critics will be invited to spread the knowledge in this regard to the public, including the printmaking history, definition, variety, collection and preservation. Participants will join in the printmaking activities on site, too.
The Fair will launch the “New Technology, New Products and New Achievements” in the animation games themed on “Innovation, Exchange, Cooperation and Development” & an Animation Industry Business Trade. Over 150 enterprises and organizations at the upstream and downstream of the industry including R&D, design, production and marketing of the animation games will involve in negotiation, of which 30 and plus are foreign companies.
During the “12th International Comic Artist Conference & 2011 Beijing International Animation and Comic Week”, several colorful activities will occur, including face to face animation celebrities, animation state play, cosplay and electronic competition, etc, providing a cutting-edge animation experience for spectaculars.
The 1st 798 International Printmaking Fair is hosted by the office of the Organization Committee of the ICCIE and Beijing Cultural Development Foundation, and organized by the Baiyaxuan 798 Art Center and Beijing Cultural Development Center.
