A look on the Young French Creation

The National School for Photography in France (ENSP) celebrated its thirtith anniversary in 2012. Hundreds of photographers have gone through these thirty years, who passionately have practiced the use of the image in its all caracteristics and have gone over the flat surface of the photo paper that reflects life. The School chooses to celebrate in this exhibition « Those who arrive ». Those we don't know yet, those we wish to discover... Rececent graduates from the School, they are also thirty years old, and hold in themself the desire of intense creation

From gesture to language

Through the exhibition From gesture to language, the Rockbund Art Museum offers a reflection on the relationship between art and writing, in China and in the West. Conceived by Pascal Torres Guardiola, curator of the chalcography department at the Louvre and Edmond de Rothschild collection, and Larys Frogier, director of the Rockbund Art Museum, the exhibition features prints, paintings, sculptures and installations from the museum's collection in Paris, international collections, or those made especially for the exhibition.

The artists include Georg Baselitz, Louise Bourgeois, Tony Cragg, Richard Deacon, Raphaël Denis (Anonymous Collective), Philippe Favier, Franz Gertsch, Jenny Holzer, André Kneib, Liu Dan, François Morellet, Robert Morris, Zoran Music, Bruce Nauman, Giuseppe Penone, Arnulf Rainer, Cécile Reims, Martin Salazar, Kiki Smith, Jean-Philippe Toussaint, Danh Vo, Terry Winters, Xu Bing, Yan Pei Ming, Yang Jiechang, Zhao Xuebing.
