In spring 2012, she was welcomed in the Rhizome –Lijiang Art Center. She met artisans working with dye, couture, embroidery, and weaving in Yunnan and Guizhou. Returning in April 2013, Awena Cozannet will go meet the indigo dye and cloth calendering craftsmen of Guizhou, to create new pieces that will be presented at the Guiyang Art Museum.
