In the top 10 artworks of spring auction season in China,eight are paintings and calligraphy works and five are ancient paintings. Among them, three artworks were auctioned according to the Beijing Jiuge auction. The painting, Playing Clarinet on a Horseback was also sold at Beijing Jiuge. In fact, we never heard of Chen Gao, we could only find that he lived during the Song Dynasty (960-1279) because of records from Song Dynasty.
