The southern French city of Toulouse auctionedtheChinese painting"Qianlong Great Read Map’ IV "Line Array". Line Array beat Chinese buyers to the high price of 22.05 million euros (184.02m yuan), breaking Asian art auction price records in France.

Qian Long Emperor (1711-1799) reignedthe Qing court officially from Oct 11, 1735 to Feb 8, 1796. "Qianlong Great Read Map" IV "Line Array" is a roll 24 meters long, 69 cm wide, witha wide array of color on silk manuscripts. It is painted with figures up to 9,000 people and the faces are clear. There is also painted clothing, traveling guns, drums and other ceremonial flags painted in a meticulous fashion.
