Those who attended the opening ceremony included Gu Xiulian vice chairman of the Tenth NPC Standing Committee, Hu Zhengmin, Communist Party Secretary of CFLAC, Dong Wei, deputy minister of the Ministry of Culture, and Wang Wenzhang, president of the Chinese National Academy of Arts, as well as literary celebrities, including Mo Yan, Jiang Kun, Liu Zhengcheng, Shi Kai and calligraphy lovers from all over the country. Over 600 people were present.
