On Sept 27, Chinese Ambassador to Belarus Cui Qiming and Belarusian Culture Minister Boris Svetlov signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a cultural center in each country. Chinese Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli and Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.
The signing of the memorandum ushered both sides into a new era of the development of bilateral cultural relations.
