10. Wu Song Fights the Tiger
Wu Song is a fictional character in Water Margin, one of the four great classical novels of Chinese literature. The novel describes him as a good-looking man with a muscular body and an impressive bearing. Once Wu Song saw an official warning sign said there was a tiger at the ridge, but he refused to turn back and moved on. He encounters a ferocious tiger while he’s trying to take a nap to get over a hangover. He accidentally breaks his staff while fending off the beast and has no weapon to defend himself. Under the influence of alcohol, he kills the tiger by pinning it to the ground and bashing its head repeatedly with his bare fists.
