3D holographic projection company Digital Domain has struck a 10-year joint venture with TNT Production to hold hologram performances of late celebrated Asian singing star Deng Lijun, or Teresa Teng, who passed away 20 years ago.

Chinese director Mu Zijian's film "One Child" has made the shortlist of eight documentary short subject contenders up for an Academy Award.

Actors, directors and movie fans are in Rome for the 9th Rome Film Festival. Chinese director Xu Ang is there for the world premiere of his latest movie, 12 Citizens. It is the only Chinese film to be nominated for a top award at the festival.

The exhibition, The Forbidden City: Inside the Court of China’s Emperors was held at the Vancouver Art Gallery on Oct 18. The exhibition will run for three months. More than 200 treasures from the Palace Museum in Beijing will on display, of which nearly 30 are first-class national relics and 80 have never been seen outside China.
