Founded in June 1956, the Ensemble has staged scores of large-scale operas, dance dramas, symphonic and ethnic music pieces, mostly of strong ethnic and local flavor.
The Chongqing Municipal Song and Dance Ensemble was set up in 1956. Since its founding, the ensemble has staged many excellent music and dance performances.
